How to get to La Paz ?
By Road:

Unless you're already on the Mexican mainland, you'll probably be coming from the USA and especially through California. La Paz is at about 950 miles from San Diego. The road, Interstate 1, you cannot miss it, there is only one, is generally very good. It's a beautiful 2 or 3 day drive on an incredible scenic road with spectacular landscapes.

Important notice: avoid driving at night and don't forget to purchase a Mexican insurance for your car. Buy it a couple of days, or weeks, before leaving in order to avoid the stress at the border.

By Plane:

Tips & Tricks
If you fly from the USA or CANADA, compare the airfares between La Paz (LAP) and Los Cabos (SJD).
San José del Cabo (Los Cabos) airport is only at a 2 hour ride, by modern and comfortable buses.
Aero California flies again!
Alaska airlines will be back to La Paz end of October.

1) Your city - Mexico City - La Paz or Los Cabos
2) Your city - Los Angeles - La Paz or Los Cabos
3) Check Iberia, Air France, and Alitalia airfares.
