Our Spanish Total
Immersion Program (or intensive program) will help you to
learn Spanish and discover the Mexican culture, history and lifestyle.
A homestay with a Mexican family is a great way to improve your Spanish and to learn about the country and its customs. However, if you wish, you can choose other accommodation. Note that the Homestay option is only available with the Intensive Program. Even if we do recommend a 4 week course, a shorter or a longer stay is also possible. | Intensive
Program (Total Immersion
) We have two different schedules: - Monday to Friday, 22 hours/ week - Monday to Saturday, 26 hours/ week - Classes are from 0830 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. In addition to the intensive course, we also offer - Business Spanish, 6 to 10 hours / week - Medical Spanish, 6 to 10 hours /week (for healthcare professionals/students only). We have classes for all levels, with a maximum of 6 students per class. There is an oral and written evaluation at the very first day in order to fit the student in the right class. More details ? | A
typical day at school The first day : you will start with a placement test in order to set up the most appropriate plan of study for you. Because our classes don't count with more than 6 students and usually less, it's possible to give this kind of very personalized attention. - 08.15 a.m.: the school opens and the teachers are preparing the last details for your class. - 08.30 a.m.: classes start, usually by reviewing the last day homework. Then, the teacher will, with your active participation, introduce a new lesson, normally a specific grammar point or any relevant structure of the Spanish language. The teaching is always interactive , theory is light and clearly presented. - 10.00 a.m.: break time, time for a coffee (free), a small snack or to eat a taco at the next corner. - 10.20 a.m. : back to class. It's time for vocabulary, comprehension, conversation, ,.... In a dynamic way, you will learn useful expressions, common vocabulary and idioms; you will actively practice your Spanish. - 11.20 a.m.: let's take a 10 minute break. - 11.30 a.m.: time for conversation, class activitities, songs, movies,... depending of your level, of course - 1.00 p.m.: end of classes. You have one hour to catch the bus to go to the beach! Don't forget to do your homework. |

extras Airport/La Paz Bus terminal pick up: We can pick you up at the La Paz airport or at the bus terminal for free (upon request) and we drive you to your hosts, in case you have chosen a Home stay with a Mexican family, or to your hotel. Tailored classes are in addition of the Intensive Program: send us an email if you have a specific need in Spanish. We organise Medical Spanish and Business Spanish (law & business) Special schedule: you can ask for a special schedule (for example less hours/day or less days in a week). In order to get a special schedule you'll need to be at least 3 students in the same class. No homestays are usually available in case of a special schedule (send us an email) |
