Medical
Spanish
Our medical Spanish program is a complement to our
general and conversational Spanish course. Classes are 3 to 5 times a
week, 2 hours each time , in the afternoons. You can also ask to take a
practice, usually at the Red Cross.
What is Medical Spanish ?
Most of health care professionnals need Spanish in order to communicate
with their Hispanic patients. Our purpose is to supply our students
with medical vocabulary, common idioms and more than everything, to
help you to practice, exercise and learn what you will need in your
profession while facing Hispanic patients.
Medical Spanish Curriculum:
This curriculum is a complement to our general intensive Spanish course
during which you will learn the rules of the Spanish language. During
the Medical class you will exercise some practical situations such as
:(depending on your level and specialization)
- Admission/ general interview/medical history
- Illnesses, allergies,
- Remedies and prescription,
- Parts of the hospital/specialists,
- Parts of the body/organs,
- Situation of an accident,
- Emergencies,
- Surgery,
- Pregnancy,
- etc...

for Business
This
course is in addition to our intensive Spanish course. Classes
are 3 to 5 times a week, 2 hours each time , in the afternoons.

is Spanish for business?
Trading with the Hispanic world is increasing
every day. We have designed this course for business people, human
resource department, banking, insurance, ... students and all people
generally interested in trading or dealing with Latin America and
Spain.
